Not many, I would say maybe 6 a year... He works for a drag race team (Funny car i think) and rebuilds a bunch of the ISBA drag rac\e boat motors. This is a new business venture for him so its taking time for the adjustment of this is not a hobby anymore and the bills have to come first... In short I get assed out for the jobs that pay.

Drag Race Guys Building Offshore Boat Motors How Long You Think That Will Last??????????????????????????????????????????

I Would Hate To Part Of That Learning Curve.

I have faith that this motor will work well and last just fine as an offshore motor. A good engine builder builds for the application, if a builder only knows one application then they are a ****ty builder IMO... My comments were more to the point of why my engine is not done on time not that the builder only builds drag motors because that is not the case at all.

Motor is done... Dyno on Tuesday!!!! I might have a boat this year after all.
