Hello gents,
I bought the boat from Patrick for parts, shipped it to texas to strip, removed the parts, and am now selling the trailer with a totalled boat on it. If someone can fix it, then more power to them, but I don't need it anymore. Like I said in my ebay article, I think the boat is totalled, but if someone with more knowledge than me can fix it, then great. I don't do fiberglass. I am not out to rip off or scam anyone, my opinion was that the boat was totalled, I just want to get rid of it with the trailer, because my bro doesn't want a trailerless boat sitting on his property forever
by the way, if any of you fiberglass guys think you can fix it, I can take more pics of close ups if necessary.
I think it would make a great backyard bar too !!

The hull and deck joint was not glass together, but we'll not go down that road again...
I agree with you that the boat should be scrapped unless fixed at the Superboat factory.
Even then, I'd not trust it, but that's me.
I can provide the hull number, and any other info someone may want about this hull. I owned it for 5 years and put the majority of hours on it.

Pat,
I've know you for a few years, and I kept my distance from this thread. But it's at the point of being riduculas.
Right after your misfortune (thank God there was know one seriousy hurt). I recieved 4 PM's from members who were eye witnesses to your incident. I wish I would have kept them.

I too wished you'd kept those PM's with the accounts of my accident. Then we could ask those people to post what they really saw.
There were two or three other boats in the area when it happened, besides the cruiser that is. T-Mone and Madison here on OSO came to my aid and T-Mone is probably the only that could give an accurate account of what really happened, other than God that is. Have you spoken or corresponded with T-Mone? Should I ask him to post what he saw and what his opinions are of how the boat came apart?
My boat was examined by two naval architects, one being a professor at Web, two boat builders, one that has build everything from 16’ Donzis to 100’ yachts, and two marine surveyors. Would you like me to post some of there findings?
Rick, I’m not blowing smoke. Did you read the letter I send to Mr. Coen? Would you like me to send you a copy or maybe I should post it?
I don't want to go around with you on this subject as nothing good will come from it.
The point that George was tying to make by starting this thread is that my old boat is probably better off going through a chipper than being fixed. I had lots of problems with the hull besides the fact the deck wasn't glassed to the hull. Ask John, I called him every year as I had repairs done. I called you too but you never returned my calls.
You are trying to defend Superboat by discrediting me. I'm not going to play that game.
I have repeetedly stated that the quality of my old boat is definitely not representative of the product that you produce today. I am not trying to bash Superboat and I don’t want to get into a personal rift with you either Rick.
