Saw the boat, it is coming our great! Saw the mockup of the new splash well, looked really nice. And the removable rear bench was done, Rick was able to throw it in the other 30 CC they are building for stock, looks real good and pretty functional as well (Rick, agree on those hand rails!)

Sean, those are plugs (prototypes). Once completed, they are primed wetsanded then polished. Then given wax after wax after wax and so on. Then a mold is made from them. Then the mold has to get wetsanded, polished, waxed and waxed and waxed and so on. Then! we can make a part. Tons of sanding. It's great for the arthritis in the elbow's. ;) and the back.

My bad.....meant to say plugs, you've only explained it to me about 20 times now :)

No worries, I figure you had no shot of not going to Pace!

Swung by the factory on Saturday, was able to see the plug for the seat and splash well. Also picked out the switch lay out for the switch panel I wanted. overall, everything is really coming together. JC told me the deck might be pulled this week.

noli 12-13-2009 04:02 PM

Sean,

Do you think it's possible to create a video and post in Youtube on your hull being pulled out of the mold ?

This is a big week!

George,
Probable need around 3 weeks once the hull and deck are pulled. Priority now is getting the new molds (3) done for the motor well, seat base and console base. By the end of next week I should have a part out of both the motor well and seat base molds.

FX10 12-20-2009 10:56 AM

I think a couple of these on the back would wake this ride up alittle too.

Superbabi 12-20-2009 11:18 AM

a cool advantage with this system is the EX-zact trim control. Returns the engine to it's pre set height to within 1/8". Dunk the motors all the way down for the untimate holeshot, get it on plane, trim it up. then jack up the motor. A definate advantage to a manual setback. You can probably go at least another inch, if not higher with this setup. I can almost smell 87.6 :)

The stock one is basically done. Front hatch is on now with the lifting supports. Just needs the 2 cockpit sole hatches, the 2 small hatches for the well, and to mount the console.

LEOPAJM 12-23-2009 08:57 AM

Guys ..... whats the 30 CC weigh in at ? And what is the LOA ?

FX10 12-23-2009 09:36 AM

We're estimating 1800 lbs. Sean is going to weigh his trailer, then weigh it with the boat unrigged to get an exact weight.
