I couldn't get a bank that I have all my business accounts with to give me a loan and I have almost no debt and my credit score was almost 800 , but I went to the credit union and in 15 min they ask me how much I would like the check made for .
I did my loan for 60 months at 4.75% .

Don't you just sometimes wanna shove a big a$s motor in something it doesn't belong in just to freak people out ?
Today I found an 18' flats boat with a big block and a surface drive , 10" draft . ( sounds like fun )

I need a turn key set up. I am new to performance boats and finding /installing an engine may be troublesome for a novice like myself. But I do have mechanical abilities. I have built high hp engines for drag sleds and Harley Davidsons so how hard can installing a crate motor be? I should add, I would like the 90 mph MGD numbers. Superbabi, what were you pulling with the Potter? Sames as the MGD power ?

smoker, a drop in should be in the 1k range. As for the Potter 800 best we saw was 92-93 mph, however one day I hit 94.5 on the downward slope part of the bay !!! lol lol

Thats about the same as the MGD 800 speeds. 1000 is labor price to drop in? Not bad, I am leary of the 525 boat because of the header issues I have read about. How does your drive compare to the the Konrad ace? I assume you do not include a trailer? Sorry for the novice questions but I need to start somewhere. Hmmm 16 hour drive from me.

smoker how fast do you want to go ? The 525 is a great motor. Its just the CMI headers that are in question. I'm sure there are other headers out there, I have a set of factory reconditioned Stellings. As for the drives I have nothing but great things about the Konrad drive, as for the XR I have been lucky with mine. Rebuilt every seasons and oil changes every 15 hours. No issues. No trailer, my Y2K is always on a lift in season. As for the questions, not a problem, I love talking boats. Give me a call ,Thanks Gary.

Well I have enjoyed the MGd boat , I talked to Dave before Jamie bought it but he just beat me to it !
Gary I must have the next design hull after yours because the Konrad drive is heavier and looses a couple MPH over the bravos but yet will still run the same speeds ..
