i believe mine is 20+gallons just fits under the steering console
i am still weary with my new sender. i have a 12' setback which might be to much if i had no setback the baystar hydro steering would hit the transom. i have a bobs nosecone but I dont have exprience putting it on. any pics of the process.

cwc says he has battery under console which makes it tidy and nice. I used the front part of the console for toolbox and life jackets.
my bench seat is uncomfortable wold like to throw a bucket in . any advice. I like those buckets that the front pops up for leaning

Nice job on that project pwm. I'm hoping to be done by middle of june, but i think i'm being optimistic... I boat out of Southold and hope to be able to fish Gardiners Bay for bass in the fall...I fly fish mostly, so I need calm water anyway so this boat should fill the bill.
Most of my fiberglass work is done, so it's about ready to be sprayed. I'm bonding another set of stringers to the set that is already there. these new stringers will have knees which will tie into the transom and the motorwell/deck. I'll show pics when complete.
I'm going to put a 6" hydraulic CMC plate on mine...mainly to get into shallow water...I think my little 115 should be enough power to get her on plane ok...
I just bought a Todd swingback seat also... it fits perfect and also serves as a baitwell/cooler
All of the cushions are at Kryptonite for recovering...
I have the 18 gallon Tempo tank under the console all the way forward and I cut the floor around it so it sits as low as possible in the boat---I'll have room above it to stow life preservers and/or fenders. The oil tank fits nicely right next to the fuel tank.
I got my panels back from powdercoat and the new windscreen back from island plastics this weekend.
I'll get some pics up after this rain we're supposed to get passes...

Merry Christmas all..... I just found this site....It brings back all the great memories I have of boating on the South SHore from '94-'99.
I lived on Pirate's cove in Massapequa park. A paradise for boaters. It even beats Key West in some ways.
I have lots more pics if anybody wants .....Anyone still read this thread ?
Here's a pic of my '97 16 BY Request ... This is how I found it in storage after Hurrican Wilma came through. I was very happy to find only the cover damaged.

She gets to mid sixties real quick....that's the fun with this boat, acceleration.
It could go alot faster but i wouldn't want to hit a stray wake at 70 + mph ...... I had a 21' that did 72mph easy, and it was WAAAY more stable.
PIC of the 21...
