Have Zuperboat Mike build you a new hatch...
Nice Engine Gary!

Gary are you going to close the front of the scoop ? Have them put alittle wall on the inside back a few inches so you still get cold air but wont get a direct hit to the mota. Kind of like a deflector pushing anything that comes in down away from the intake.

The prop you need is a Left hand Hydromotive cleaver style 31 pitch, no diffuser ring, light labbing. Lab work should be done after first sea trial.

I'd love to hear this engine's rumble.

I especially like the exhaust headers! let us know the splash date and location :)

Mike, there will be a new opening more forward, but on more of an angle, than a little deflector to drop the spray into the bilge instead of into the throttle body.

Thanks K, I already spoke with Tod at Hydomotive props, if all goes well this weekend with sea tests a couple of new props will be ordered !!!

Hydromotive Q4 works best for me, Lab Work by Throttel up, If I could race with larger props I would love to try their CNC props
