Yes, let's see the finished product...
Congrats on hitting the water Gary!:cool-smiley-026:
If that 32p is too big by 800+rpm, you probably can run the same props you did with the 600.

Thanks Rick, the hood came out real nice !! We did splash yesterday afternoon, played with a couple props, called it a day and went boating. The best we saw was 90 mph, with a 32 B1, still more props to go, we were 800-1000 before top rpm's. Once we get the right prop she will really fly.

Man, does that sound familiar!:D Almost the same numbers but I hit 94 with the 32 B1. You should get more power as she loosens up some. Try a stock 28 B1 or a labbed 30 for better gas mileage.

Thanks Pat, photos soon !!! We tried a 30 B1 ( labbed ) to many rpm's, I'm thinking a 31 is gonna be the ticket.

Try stock Bravo's first so you have a baseline to work with. A labbed prop should be built boat specific, depending on how the attitude of the boat is with a stock prop. I ended up liking the stock prop due to less prop slip than the labbed ones I used.

Tom our boats should be reeal close in speeds, you were running 801.7, I.m running 806.4, both using the bravo xr, what was you best speed/prop ??? :D

I never tried to break the 94 I made the first year I had the boat so that is where I'm at I guess. The reason is cause I always had a fully loaded boat. Most boats I ran with couldn't handle rough water as well, so wasn't to worried about trying again.

I run a stock Bravo1 28 most of the time, get's me 90 or so. The acceleration will pull away from most boats, they give up before you run out or rpm! :D The day I hit 94 was a 32 but limited me to 5400rpm

Hey Gary,
Is your old 5 blade Max too small?
It sounds like a stock 30 B1 is one you should try.
Have you tried any Hydros yet?
