Yea, I'm not sure what that means either.
I was just giving an example of what can be had on the used market.
I kow that you can get "new" in the box, left over XR drives for around 6K.
You and I talked about this before you bought the big engine and you know my opinion. You can have 2 XR drives on the self for the price of some other drives...

sorry about the drive Gary. I keep waiting for some one to try the SCX. that's the one I am considering. Saw one the other day and it was quite impressive.

Thanks Tom, I pretty much knew the risk with the XR and 800 Hp, and the fact mine had 280 hours with the 600 pushing for 3 years. The SCX is a really nice drive, the problem is no Warranty, and at 14k, thats a big risk, perhaps a couple of XR'S is the way to go ??? I'm checking into Max Worx drives, lets see what happens with that. :grinser010:

Are you sure there is no stated war? I think they(imco) rate the scx fairly high don't they, like 750-800 on torque
Somebody help me out here.
Gary, what ever you do good luck. I look forward to following the thread.

Will be interesting to see if the imco scx can hold up to 800 or so hp,would be the easiest way to go,all the other style bravos will probably be short lived behind 800,need to be easy on the throttles and keep full throttle speed runs to a mininum.Awesome looking engine, love the ke intake set up.I set up 2 boats with Konrad ace this winter,38 powerplay 800hp.and a 29 fountain900hp,at this time i think this is the best set up out there for this hp range, time will tell.

The Imco is a great setup. We have sold one Ace and its been blown to bits several times, granted over the HP rating (900 + on a single 32). Overall Imco seems to come out on top for us.

well the ace(konrad) is a trans set up correct?
I know that imco has the SCT which uses a trans as well and slightly higher in pwr rating over its brother the SCX
