What coating is applied to prevent the salt from ruining them? I would think it would get under the rest of the black finish.

An epoxy based black paint. The tab (area to be painted) is heated with a heat gun then multiple coats are applied. works great Tom.

Thanks Gary. A few more weeks, I should be there to pick up the beast. I told JC not to cut out the holes for the exhaust so I can put the custom headers where the align to instaed of having a funky exhaust bend.

Hey Tom Boat Is On The trailer The Bilge Is almost Done as Is The rest of the boat Waiting For One Indicator Cable Then Make The mounts And Put the engine In Then finish The Little Stuff And You should Be All Set Then Off To Cali. Are You Close To Huntingtonbeach My Best Friend Lives There He used To Be a Superboat Dealer But Went Into Other Things See U When u Get Here

Rick, cant tell from the pictures, but the gray bunk trailer is mine, and the blue bunk trailer is Toms. BTW hows the fit of the trailer and the steps?

I actually have three interested parties when it gets here. Also a couple of the POPRA offshore racers that want to take her for a run also. They wanted me in the F1 class but I must go faster. (FASTERDAMITT)
