OOPS! I forgot to respond. That's my boat Biotch's!
Anyway back to the top. I got the call today my boat is being water tested tomorrow. Short story, The oil cooler had to be custom mfg'd as you know. He also found the rear main seal leaking so he pulled the engine to replace it while it was there.
I received a call from a guy named BAB in northern Calif that wants a Y2k. He's coming down Saturday to check out Barely Legal.
FX, Get you marketing commission check yet?

Finally home! Took er out to Lake Elsinore for a spin after I picked er up. Glass water this time of year. I can feel a little need for a better prop to carry the bow now. Never felt it in the normal water.
Tried a couple speed runs but just as I'm getting past 5500 I run out of lake. Could probably get more if I slam the throttle from the start, but I tend to baby the XR. Can sure feel the hull drag in the flat water. Time to send the prop out for a lab job.

I'm sure it's great to have her home now!
I feel that my stock 28p Bravo 1 gives less bow lift than my 26p that was labbed by Houston prop. The 28p break free quite early as I trim up and then the speed goes down. With my 26p, I can get the boat to stand on it's tail without breaking free. You may want to give Darin at Houston prop a call; that's where my 28p is going...

Faster - looking good!! I'm working now with Brett Anderson at bblades.com to get some bow lift, give him a call as he knows very well the Y2K!! I'm going to add a 1" drive spacer and do some runs to get good numbers, then he'll work out the slip numbers and suggest a prop. Team Loan Shark and DPTMotorsports hooked me up with him and I can't thank them enough - give him a call!!

Hey Keith,
Have you ever talk to Houston Prop? He's in your back yard.
Zuper used Merc Racing in the past and has mentioned he would go to BBlades next time...
