With a Bravo on a 20 you will likely run out of transom before you get too high. The top of my drive was at the top of the hull and the hull along with the rub rail was cut to allow the drive to sit flush. You may want to check with the factory to see if a shorty drive might be the best answer.

The last 20' built (sold a few months ago up in NJ) has a Bravo 1 with an MX6.2. Richie Jr. had to cut the sun pad and add some height so the engine would fit with proper x dimension. The new 21 hull and deck have added free board so a bravo drive will fit with a flat sun pad.
