Sutphens at the CTriver run
 

Just wondering who will be there flying the sutphen banner?

34 Sutphen Team Tsunami 88mph
31 Sutphen Team Boxer single Blower motor 90mph
30 Sutphen twin whippled motor's 90mph at 4900rpm!

Also part of team Sutphen 35 Motion cat 100+mph!

You guys bringing those to the Fun Run on the Hudson next weekend.

Hey whats up Jim! Long time no see.....we'll be bringing the Motion to the Hudson. Ernie may come with the Boxer boat if he gets it all ready to go. You should run the cat on the Hudson and the Sutphen in CT!!

I hear Rich Sutphen might be in for this one so I'm leaving the cat home, but I am looking forward to seeing yours. As far as the CT run, I have to see whats up that weekend this year as I haven't done any of my end of the season work on my house upstate yet. If it works out and I go I think I will take my 22' Velocity. I felt a little out of place last year. A lot of small boats and I thought that the wakes from the big ones might have kind of cramped there style a little.

Sshhhh...:D:D Yea I guess we need to get a 20 Sutphen to run with those guys. One year we ran the Gladiator and had the largest boat by 11ft! I dont think they mind as long as we run ahead or behind them.

Man....were gonna have quite the following if we can get Paul, Shaun, and Dennis to come. We'll have to get Rich Jr to come back up for this too! Also great the Tom is going as well with his Scarab.

wish i could make it ,but my daughter has a cheerleading competition that day if anything changes i will be there . the kids are only young once!

since wel have the river to ourselves pretty much I doubt anyone will break BALLS

we goin---- anybody got quick directions from Providence RI to launch ramp/time it starts.

damn I dont know the exits but just after the Old lyme shores exit you'll go over the bride on RT 95. The launch in Old saybrook is right under the bridge.
Take the next exit and it should put you out right in front of Ocean performance.

You could always mapquest thier adresss (280 Boston Post Rd Old Saybrook) and if your facing thier building you wanna go left that road will take you right past the launch you cannot miss it. I will most likely be down there about 10 AM.

I take RT 9 and its exit 2. get off the end take a left and a quick right that will bring you down to the launch. But thats from the other direction.

Also right next to the launch is Oak leaf marina. if you wanna mapquest something even closer hope that helps

BTW, that Boxer Sutphen was my favorite boat on the Hudson run. I ran with him most of the day. At one point I was tapped out running side by side with him when he mashed the throttle and took off like we were standing still. The wife got it on video too. Whipple here I come:lolhit: What kind fo HP is that thing putting out? Gotta be 850+

i wish this run was saturday i would go in a second.

Yea Ernies boat is sweet! He's just getting it all dialed in. He's running about 850-900hp. The boat runs great!! Lets see that video Pete!:D

saturday is probably out for me since its tuning day on the Gen 7 DFI.
