Don't get me wrong, I don't think there's anything wrong with BF. I've recommended it to plenty of people- especially for Swap. But for me, it just doesn't have the same feel. It's more of the hang-loose, party crowd- and that's not what boating is for me. I'm a gearhead/techie and a hard-core runner, not a sit-at-the-docks/bars guy. I can drink in the 9 months I can't boat around here

As far as the Telephone co., not to totally hijack this thread, but what you describe is a relatively new occurrence. Same with the cable TV guys. Once the Dish guys started taking big bites out of their asses, they basically came out and publicly apologized for being pr.icks for years and promised to change.
