CONROE, Texas -- A doctor fatally shot himself after he shot another doctor outside his estranged wife's home, officials told KPRC Local 2 Tuesday.
Montgomery police said Dr. Mathew John Glaser went to the guard shack at Bentwater subdivision near F.M. 1097 at about 10:40 p.m. Sunday and reported that he had been shot.
He told investigators that Dr. Brian Turley had shot him.
Glaser was taken by helicopter to Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston in critical condition.
Several bullet holes were found in Glaser's vehicle, officials said.
Montgomery County sheriff's deputies said they received a call from a woman a short time later reporting that Turley was at her home on Star Violet Court in The Woodlands and told her that he had just fired shots at a man coming from his estranged wife's home.
Turley told the woman that he did not know if he had wounded the person, detectives said.
Investigators said Turley demanded the woman's keys and she refused to give them to him.
Turley then pulled out a gun and shot himself in the head, officials said. He was taken to The Woodlands Hospital, where he died.
Detectives examined the shell casings at both scenes and determined that the same gun was used.
Officials have not said what sparked the shooting.

they said if oil was $100 a barrell in the summer, gas would be $4, well oil is $109 a barrell!!!!!!!! If it makes it to $127 like they are saying we are going to be paying $5 a gallon and if it makes it to $150 we are going to be paying $6 or more.........
That is why when you meet a huge dooooosh bag at Eldorado's that is obviously a moron and he is driving a new Range Rover and running up a $200 tab every night you should slap him off his chair... because he is just one of the many reasons we have overinflated fuel prices.
