this boat is a true 24' (no platform or beak), it weighs 4100 lbs. and has a crate motor merc 454. I don't know where to start with the prop ???

also, I have noticed that they make bravos with a 1.5:1 ratio and a 1.35:1 ratio. Excuse my inexperience, but what is the difference ...I am guessing the 1.35:1 would be higher top end. If any of you answer this by putting .15:1 I am just going to kill you.

What pitch do you need????

1.5:1 is a higher gear ratio...right ? which means the engine makes 1.5rpms for every 1 rpm on prop shaft, wouldn't this be less top end ????? Hmmmm Hmmmmm ???
