No joke. Have been using Marathons on the trailers we manufacture (horse trailers) for 11 years, never have had a problem. Can't speak for everyone, only our experience with over 2000 tires.

We use 205 75 15 Load C rated and 225 75 15 C & D Load rated.

Default Marathon tites

My previous Heritage trailer had them from the factory and i had no problems. In fact between the curb scruffs and how bad I have to crank them over to get into my drive I would have expected to lose at least one here and there. Wherever they're made they've done well by me.

Maxxis tires on 2 different trailers 38' boat and a 40' for over 3 yrs...no problems..
