Here's what an EGR looks like after 11,000 miles.
I don't know if I'm particularly keen on recirculating my exhaust gases.

Looks like my service guy was not kidding when he said frequent cleaning!!!! The problem with my dealer is they are a Lincoln/Mercury/Toyota store so they don't normaly service diesel's, mostly older 7.3PSD's. The parts guy when I ordered the air filter could not believe how much and thought he ordered the wrong thing when it arrived!!!! The service guy owns the same color Excursion as I do and is an ex-diesel mechanic........
