Yep is an understatement and it appears that recirculating exhaust only keeps the EPA and manatee lover's happy!

People wonder why diesel cars are not more popular in North America and seem to be less clean burning over other good mileage engines!

Another mod they list is the direct crankcase vent. I looked- should be an easy one and will keep all that crap out of the motor. I looked underneath and figure I can run a 1" hose all the way back and down and exit at the rear right shock mount skid plate. That should keep the blowby off the underside.

My God, OSO truly is a tree-hugger's nightmare, isn't it?

Before I posted that link did find that alot of that tech stuff is not only good the EGR cleaning is a Ford notice to dealer's service departments. Wonder how many dealers talk people into replacing turbo's or injectors only to have the problem pop up again.

Was on my way to Oshkosh, so had to drive into Seattle for my flight, that I missed....

It's a 2 1/2 hour trip via two mountain passes and not one time did I lose power and start blowing smoke.

Mine just went in for the same......Clogged EGR $500 for ford to service thanks for the 100k warranty!!
