Yeap, the Putnam XDR is what I have on mine. The Putnam is much more stout than the factory hitch. That hitch is only rated for 6000 lbs. for the hitch setup on your boat trailer (weight carrying).

Only thing is the Putnam ships with Grade-5 bolts. Grade-8 is better. I have a local supplier who can replace the Grade-5s with Grade-8s. If you pick up the Putnam (they ship direct), let me know, and I will pick up some more on my way to the lake. They are only a few bucks.

Just took Sy.'s advice on the Putnam XDR for my 06 PSD. My local truck accessory outfit ordered and put it on for me. $225 installed. The hitch looks very stout, there was clearance for the spare tire to drop, and even the paint job looked decent. The receiver is a little higher and sticks out a little farther. This is much cheaper than the Reese(350.) Thanks for the advice. Eric

Bri; THANKS!!! I just ordered one this morning... Go ahead and grab the bolts and we'll hook up on your next trip down to SML. Maybe Richy Rich will allow us to use his shop to knock it out one night/day.
