Change of plans.

Boat isn't ready. Seems like 10 weeks wasn't enough time for everything to get finished at the shop.

I am really pissed about it. I had this date on my calendar set since April for a day at the lake. We had the Dr. appointment for my wife's 6 week post baby delivery, and she was given the green light, but now my boat isn't ready to go. Not happy.

I just bought a FL60 with a small sleeper, i transport exoctic cars with it. I am wanting to make somewhat of a sport chassis type deal, but i am having trouble finding interior to buy and aluminum steps for the sides and etc. Does anyone know where i mught be able to find some parts to make this thing look a little better.

the pete is rated at 30,000 derated to 26,000 so you don't need a CDL.
The OSO 650 weighed in at 13,000 with a GVW of 25999 at a weigh station scale in CT. Because CT recognized the vehicle as commercial rather than recreational as it is recognized by the state of FL, a CDL was required to drive it through the state regardless of the weight.

california rates and regesters any pickup truck over 8500lbs as commercial, so my pete is regestered as commercial but I explain it to the cops and have no problem yet. I have a CDL so I am legal anyway. In florida if the boat trailer and load weigh more than 15,000lb the truck must have a GVW of 26,001 cause with a large boat they want you to have a CDL. That is written on every oversize load permit I pull.

I have a 47 fountain and I am trying to decide between a new ford f450 or a heavy duty truck. The boat and trailer weigh about 20k dry weight. Any suggestions?
