Trailer Value
O.K. now that winter is almost upon us (in the midwest) it's sled time!!!!
Question: what is a 2005 Featherlite trailer really worth??
25 ft trailer plus the 6 ft V 31 LOA
X3 axles
white
drive in drive out-Model no. 1648
I just looked at one at a dealer and I think he is way overpriced, but is there somewhere I can look for used values???
Can anybody help???? BZ

Go to the www.NADA.com web site and go to recreational vehicles

this is the Featherlight section, but there were so many model numbers I wasn't sure which one you needed. That should give you an idea, although sometimes the NADA prices may be high, so take that into consideration.
good luck.

BZ,
Used enclosed sled trailers really seem to hold their value well. I think that it is due to the fact that the new ones are so expensive new. Get a Indiana or Michigan Auto RV book, Becks trailer sales have some decent deals on legend 4 places. Bottom line, make sure you get a all aluminum trailer, worth the extra up front money and you get it back at resale time. Obviously they also last longer.
Good luck,
MM
