Default Titan Tires

Anybody using them? Time to swap out the trailer tires and although I've never had an issue with G.Y. Marathons, I've heard there has been problems with them since their recent mfg. move to China. Any ideas?

I haven't heard about any problems with the Marathons, we still move as many as we ever have, but I'll ask my dealers if they have had many adjustments sense the switch. I do know that they are being built at a new state of the art plant over there.
Titan builds a great Farm Tire but I don't have any idea on there S.T. tires.

I had issues with GY tires last year and I contacted trailer manufacturer to get price fro new tires and he told me couple yrs ago because of move to China or whatever, he went from never seeing any issues to TONS of issues and stopped selling/recommending them (separation).

I've been running Firestone Trans Force E-rated LT tires under a 12K lbs. load for several years and love them. My (used) Myco came with Goodyear LT tires. I don't buy ST tires anymore.

Get a beer and a bag of popcorn and google goodyear marathon recall. My parents blew three trying to get to Texas with their RV 5er. If you complain Goodyear will write you a nice check to keep your mouth shut. My brand new RV blew a goodyear as I was making the 12 mile trip home from the dealer picking it up. I won't even dare think of Goodyears under my Sunsation.

That is incredible! Go China! Unfortunately, our options of made in the USA trailer tires are almost n/a. I'm hunting down a pile of TITANs for my fleet and see what happens. Even if they're sh?t, at least my money will stay in america.

Denman and Maxxis tires get the best reviews on most forums.

I've had several dealers tell me that the Maxxis is a decent line, but there getting close, price wise, to the Marathon.
