Glad you liked the Duramax....146K miles on mine, no complaints yet!
But don't get in the habit of towing a 46 RR with a 1 ton truck.....the owner of American Muscle 3 found out the hard way it isn't enough truck to stop a 46 RR. Boat was being towed in Miami with an F350 and traffic stopped short, boat ended up jackknifing the rig, boat landed in the median on its bottom!

Oh and a gooseneck trailer would help too. Even a Class V hitch is not rated to tow 16k.

A big truck without enough weight over the rear axles is very hard to stop quickly. Bottom line is following distance is crucial. I cringe every time I see a truck tailgating cars on the highway. It's like watching a pitbull lick a baby's face.

great advice.... I see this over and over again when towing...not enough room in between vehicles... as to the pit bull's.. I hear ya.. I like Labs and those mean chihuahuas.
