Just glad that I have a good low mileage 7.3 PSD.
My 7.3 has been a good truck...I'm looking for a 7.3 Dually now

It's a shame they don't build them like they used to. If they made a 7.3L PSD with coil spring front suspension (as added in 2005), that would be a perfect truck.

I just turned 100K on my 7.3.

Sorry about the hi-jack Chuck. Good luck with your pursuit.

I just sold my 02 F250 with 205k on it and bought this Dmax. I would have kept the F250 but i needed a dually. The emissions is what is killing these motors.

I too thought about an F450, but drove this chevy and bought it on the spot. After reading this Im sure glad I didnt buy the ford.

ALL trucks are going to have their problems no matter who owns it. Some just have more problems then others. Did you post that number? I probably missed it.

Dodge 4500. Biggest motor strongest frame best fuel mileage in the medium duty line.

You have the best diesel engine Ford ever put in their trucks. Why trade? There are aftermarket mods that will take it to 500hp+. Keep it and make a monster motor out of it. You can drive it every day with 400-500hp.

My BIL bought an 02 F350 with 150,000 miles on it and he hauls over 5000lbs of tool boxes in the bed. He put a Superchip on it and it really runs now.

He's got over 200,000 miles on it now and has had no problems with it since he's had it. (Knowledgeable Ford owners say the turbo fries around 200k so he's got his fingers crossed and his anus puckered now. )

Just curious. A question for the GM and Dodge guys. Are you concerned about GM and Chrysler filing for bankruptcy? If no, why not? We are seeing a lot of loyal GM and Dodge guys coming over b/c they are glad that Ford did not take any bailout money. What are your thoughts?

This company will not take the new Ford diesels, only the 7.3s and only if the trucks are presentable...i.e. not beat up.

Yes I am concerned. I want to trade my 2006 dually on a 1500 but I'm waiting to see how all this shakes out. I want the diesel option but it keeps getting delayed.

I've owned many Fords and wouldn't hesitate to buy another one just not the 6.0 or the 6.4 diesels. They suck.

I'm fairly shocked by a lot of the "loud" opinions I've seen on the internet of the people who will only buy Ford now because they're so "republican" they couldn't support these "socialist" companies now. It's rediculous some of the crap I've read to this extent. Funny how people who are now "owners" will root against their own best interest because of who's in office right now.

Between this type of a-hole behavior and far right religous zealots I get now why people go libertarian, etc.
