I've tried a Diablo tuner to no avail on my 08 6.4. Lot's more power, but 12.5 mpg.
Yea, in a bad way. Mine smokes like a big dog now. I like it that way! Diesel smoke makes me horney.

So is the Spartan tune what he was talking about for $1500? If you drive with it on full time how bad will it tear up the truck? 20 mpg sounds great but not if teh truck will be wore out at 50k miles.

I paid $2k for a MBRP dual setup, the delete pipe, the DashDaq, 4 tunes & a S&B intake.
As far as it tearing the truck up. No idea. Lots of guys running the 275 daily, as I am & have had no problems in 10k miles.
The 275 will smoke like a big dog. Smokes bad enough you can black out an intersection.

WTF does your post mean?
Lots of people want to swap a Ford/Cummins

Not a lot want to swap a Dodge or Duramax?

When you already have a Duramax why would you want anything else?

Fords do look nice........they want you to be comfortable/looking good for the tow truck driver coming to get you.....

GM is ok on the exterior but the interiors look like plastic overload.
