7.3 idle surge
#11
I did but it doesnt say if it does it cold or anytime, does it do it right away or does it need to idle for 30 seconds or longer?
If it takes a while to do it 30 seconds or longer after cold startup and goes away soon as you put your foot on the brake your truck is fine.

Run to an autozone and have them check for codes. let me know if you find any. the CMP sensor recall would not really affect this siutuation. sounds like you are having hp oil system issues. either mechanical or electrical. let me know if you have any codes. also post the vin. ill see if it has anything open.
