LOL. Thanks Crown. I know what an EGR is; I was jking about mine being disabled. I won't have my truck re-breathing dirty exhaust. What dumb-ass came up with that idea anyway?

I'm sure it was the same dumba$$ that mandated the ULSF diesel, the DPF and the pi$$ burner (urea).

5-7000 in my 7.3 F350. Not to hi jack, any advantage to running synthetic in a diesel?

AMSOIL with bypass, every 50,000. However with the new trucks you need to be concerned with fuel dilution due to the EGR. I would recommend the AMSOIL and change every 20k with filter changes at 10k. I would also recommend oil analysis with the newer trucks, to keep an eye on fuel dilution.
