While we are on the subject of duramax, does anyone know of a good place that will reprogram? I have an older tuner and results are so-so, especially mileage wise, I hear custom tunes are the way to go. Dont want to drop a grand on an EFI live, are there guys out there that do programs/tunes on your truck or ecm.

You can buy a set of EFILive tunes from pretty much any vendor (I went though "Idaho Rob" at Adrenaline Truck Performance ATPTrucks.com) for about $250. Then borrow an EFILive V2 to flash your truck (VIN License is $125). So for less then $400, you get 5 Custom tunes on a DSP5 switch without having to invest another $600 in an EFILive V2.

Your welcome to use my V2 to flash if you decided to go that route, might cost ya a boat ride. heh

Ha! That's great!

Do you recall what bumpers he had? That's probably the next mod to mine, and those ones looked great!

I hear ya on the regular cab, I wouldn't go back to one after having the extended.

I was wondering if anyone can tell me what kind of mpg you are getting out of your lmm Duramax. Have an 07 with ppe programmer and the dpf delete it is lifted 6" on 35's and it is getting about 10mpg unloaded doing expressway driving. I had a 2005 lly and it got a consistant 14-15 mpg but it was completely stock. I am figuring the 35" tires are my problem but i am curious to see what everyone else is getting either stock or modified .

Should have sold to me 288KID, too bad Andy wanted its weight in gold, or maybe he was charging extra for the stop sign that almost came with it

It didn't have enough miles for you. It blue booked north of 30 and he took 28.5.

I think he did ok.
