Looking for new tow vehicle ideas

7500 bucks your choices are going to be limited and will probably be in the early 2000's range. But that boat can only weigh 3-4k no need to go anything above a half ton specially if you are going 3 miles, and even if you go farther a standard 1500 or F150 is more than a enough for that boat. Dont let these diesel guys for V10 guys say thats what you need. But I guess if you found one of those in your price rangeand its a strictly a tow vehicle then you might be fine. But a buddy of mine tows his 25ft stingray which is a much larger boat compared to that outlaw and weighs in around 5k he gets 12-13 towing that with his F150. I had a 225 Crownline which weighed around 3500, my chevy 1500 got about the same at 12-14 mpg depending.
