OK I'm going regret posting this
I live in Northern Indiana
I'm looking for a 2500 GMC Diesel, Auto Trans, 4WD, Extended Cab, Short Bed. White with Gray would be preferred. Non Smoker and no accidents
My truck is NOT a daily driver and sites in the garage most of the time but I need something a little bigger to comfortably pull our boat. I drove a
Dodge a couple of days ago that on paper met my criteria - it a 197k. The cab was a pit, torn seats and just filthy-- Not going there
I would like to keep the price around the $20K
Any leads?
Thank you

After looking at all of these posts and the prices I know I am selling my 2010 F-350 FX4 Dually and getting a FL M2 or a 650. Jesus these new trucks are crazy $$$.

this is a great thread because I'm contemplating the same thing. I currently have a '08 Silverado 2500 Diesel. It has a 6" lift and 35" tires. After 8 years driving this, I'm done with the lifted truck thing. I don't use it as a daily driver anymore and it has gotten to the point where I really don't like driving it. So thinking about trading it and my little car in for a new 2500 Silverado. I'd love another Duramax but the cost is just hard to justify. I'm only towing 8500 lbs. and I only do 1 long trip per year. Been pricing a gasser. The issue right now is, there is very little inventory on the ground. The Silverado 2500 is hard to find right now. I haven't found one to even test drive!

yes, very true. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with the value of my 8 yr. old truck. Granted, 110k miles on a diesel is really low mileage but I'm happy with the preliminary trade value. I was told last night by the dealer (who happens to be my brother-in-law), that Chevy has told him up to 6 months before the 2017 Duramax will be on the ground in numbers. Right now they are just trickling out and very hard to get.
