I have a 2016 Duramax. I have the app on my phone to start the truck. It's free. It also gives me a monthly diagnostic report on the truck. Personal preference, but I prefer still having to put a key in the ignition. My wife's SUV has push button and I hate it. Fob is always buried at the bottom of her purse!! I love my D-Max. The power is amazing, the truck is so quiet and comfortable and rides very nice. I drove a Ram when I was shopping and I found the power of the Cummins disappointing. The truck was nice but I didn't like the power. Never drove a Ford tho

I always leave a key in my ignition and just carry the key fob around with me when I'm not in the truck.

My wife has to pay for her OnStar App, but her Yukon is the first year (2015)....
I don't have any passion around the panaramic roof. It looks cool, but I know id never use it, and don't see myself paying 1495 extra for it....

I never said the options were worth it, all I was stating was that I feel Ford spends your money better comparing item for item.
That being said, when I was ordering mine at Christmas; the Ford, GM, and Ram moonroofs were all $995. So Ford jacked some stuff up.
And usually when you order the snowplow package, it kicks out the sunroof.

I also like having a key, the wifes caddy has push button start and I hate it. More than once I've dropped her off somewhere with the key fob in her purse and when I get to where I'm going I cant shut the car off and restart it.

I had a key in my last Tahoe and I thought it was great. New Yukon has push button and now I don't miss the key one bit! I know what your saying about the "missing" key though when you drop someone off. On my wife's BMW the car won't lock with the key fob out of range. So to trick the system you have to hit the central lock button from the rear seat (button is on the center of the dash), then all the doors will lock.

Around Northern Ohio you really dont save much on a 2-3 yr old diesel under 30k miles. What dealers pay on trade-in for those particular trucks is very high.

.........I do agree clean used trucks and boats bring the money
