I do not understand how this works. You ordered almost the same truck with a 6.7 on 2/5/22 and have a build slot.

I ordered 9/9/21 and have nothing, mine is a Lariat, long bed, 4x4 7.3 gas, same headlights, NO FX4 package, no liner, no backup cameras, no adaptive steering. Pretty much a low option Lariat it came in just under 70K.
Ford is terrible.

It's not just Ford. I ordered a Ram in March and it hasn't even been scheduled to be built. Estimates are 22 to 26 weeks from order to delivery. GM is even worse. The 2023's will be on the order books before I ever see my 22.

That doesn't make any sense, that was nine months ago! Mine hasn't changed "status" but it does have a link to the window sticker which maybe it had previously just didn't notice. What is strange is the window sticker price is nearly $2,500.00 more than the build and price sheet from the dealer I signed. I have not been in contact with the dealer just watching the link on Fords site. Has anyone seen any pictures of the 23's without the "camo" wraps?

There has to be something with the 7.3 holding up your order. I've noticed 7.3 trucks are taking longer than 6.7.

2 of my guys at work ordered F350s recently…one Platinum, one a Tremor, both diesel. They got build dates quick, then VIN # and then received their trucks pretty fast. No options missing, about 90-93k

I have Chevys and I do like the way the GM tows better….something with the steering when there is a lot of weight on the hitch. Not comparable. However without towing…really like the Ford and the interior is better. GM doesn’t get their supply crap worked out I’ll probably be getting one. I’ll never be able to go back to gas after having 4 digit torque on tap. Effortless

That is the only thing I can figure but you would think the Diesel being much more complex would be a issue. Either way I am just about ready to go buy a stripped down tradesman/ XL off a lot and say F*&K it.

22 to 26 is nothing, I am at 38 weeks and without a build date yet. The dealer said even when we get that it will be another 8 weeks. Sad thing is the dealers do not care if someone backs out they know when the things come in if they want they can get 10-15K over MSRP and it will sell in a day.

I agree, they are literally in the drivers seat! Once I placed my order and deposit my sales rep became a ghost. If I walked away from my order they have 10 people in line who will take it for more money. Just the reality right now. Businesses are grabbing all the lot inventory as soon as they hit dealer and are paying the big markups. They don't care, it just gets passed on to their customers. I've seen a lot of landscape companies in high end trim trucks because that's what the can find. No more work grade trucks....the manufacturers just don't seem to be cranking them out. High profit stuff only.

I talked to crb76 the other day, and his new 2022 6.7 Platinum F350 CC SB was delivered to his dealer in Houston earlier this week; ordered in September 2021, arrived end of May 2022.
Unfortunately it showed up in tuxedo black vs. the platinum white he had ordered. Alas, he refused it, as he already has an order in for a 2023.

Crazy, and I know at work things are not getting better. We have issues with raw materials, HVAC, Allen Bradly compact logic cards are almost a year out. The list goes on and on.

I just checked Ford's site and do not see any info on the 2023 yet alone a place to order one. Any idea how he already has an order? That really sucks when your long awaited truck arrives in wrong color, makes you wonder what else was done wrong with it.
