What do you use the winch for?

We live down a remote country road. I can use it to retrieve our side by side or tractor if they get stuck. I had a winch on my old Jeep LJ and used it quite a bit for those tasks.

I was wondering, we used to have them on our off-road vehicles but I didn't think you were planning on muding in a 70-80K truck! LOL

Definitely no mudding! The road just south of our house turns to **** and there is a grade crossing that always fills in with sand. If the wind blows right in the winter that is the only way to get to town if we get a bunch of snow. I would rather have the winch with more mild tires vs. larger mud terrains that are noisy and no winch.

What did you order and from who?

Got my build date finally. July 27

Called my salesman a couple weeks ago and told him I wanted to order a truck as soon as ford started taking orders again, he said he will call me as soon as they open the order bank but it will be October sometime.

Got a e-mail, VIN and Build date 7/25/2022.

When tracking on web site said order confirmed 9/10/2021. Dealer said I should have it by September.

I’m fast approaching month 8 with nothing. I’m numb to it at this point.
