OK Dodge (Chrysler and that foreign company) own shares of or all of Detroit diesel. Detroit actually does build a very nice small engine diesel and when GM puts the Cummings in their truck they may use it. (read below)
GM actually owns Cummings, and the rumor is that their trucks may have it soon. Straight from a Chevy dealership that I trust, best friend married owner's daughter. Isuzu is owned by Gm as well and they are the ones building the duramax.
As for towing the PSD is the only way to go, the new 6.0 has won every towing test done. The Dodge is the fastest when unloaded, but not when loaded. The Chevy has the nicest interior but the ford is the biggest.
For me my new 6.0 dually is on order and will be her soon. So anyone looking for a 7.3PSD 2002 F350 let me know...

I love our duramax. It pulls like there is no tomorrow. I have never had a problem out pulling or just flat out racing any other truck either. The truck is bullet proof. I have been running 31psi for 70,000 miles and the truck still drives like it is new. I really think that GM did their homework on it. 564 rwhp and 1142 rw ft/lbs.

Other than the spelling I agree 100% with everything you said.

Id love it if you could get a cat 3208 into a F-250. not sure it would fit. but it would be cool. I'm a big cat fan. Never was too big on John Deer, that goes for their engines and construction equipment
