What about fuel mileage? Is it less that the F-350??
What is the big difference? Bigger Brakes and Springs??

If you had a F-450 and went with those Bigger 22.5 wheels, do you still need to upgrade the brakes?? If so how mush is it to upgrade??

I have a 1998 Chevy Crew Cab Dually w/ 454 auto, I drive it everyday, and the mileage stinks, but it's beed a good truck overall, it's just time to get into something else!! Mine has 140k on it and I bought it 3 years ago with 108k.

What about those F-350 Short Bed Dually's?? How do they ride? any different from the long bed??
Troutly, what is the weight rating on them???

BTW, I pull a .38 Special (9600lbs dry) plus an Eagle trailer (?? 2500lbs.) plus contents (?? 1500lbs. Gas, Water, etc.) So I should be somewhere around 13,000lbs. (right?)
call me you can go for a ride.

Just gotta be a GM and I don't know a better package than D-Max and Allison.

One of my brothers runs a Dodge and trans is on it's last leg. Another brother runs a Ford and I had to tow him off Monteagle with a blown trans. Of course I towed him back to A-town with a GM.......listen.......don't hear any problems do ya...

your crazy if you really think that.. hook up 20,000 to the ass of your 350, then to a 450, you'll feel the difference right away... take a peek under the truck and look at the brakes and the rear, tell me they even compare to a 350..

I agree, I did look at the rear end big difference...I was just comparing the ride w/o a load on in I can't to see the difference in the towing...BZ
