What is a 1986 Velocity 22 worth?

DKearns, you must be talkin about my buddy Bob,and we met just last week in Woodys Crab house.Yes the 22 is a great boat once you learn how to run it,just like any other real Velocity,I can not comment on the Regal because I have never driven a Regal built hull. The thing you need to understand and you can ask Bob,the boat is a drivers boat and you will need to not be scared of running it on the pad.The reason Bobs boats always lasted is because he always knew how to run them as well as he spared no expence when putting them together,he always used the best parts and he was one of the best at driving the hull,he helped me as well as many oyhers 0on here. I beleive that if the Owner if the company was n0t such a tyte wad he could win races and sell more boats all across the board.

This is the only velocity I've seen with flat black dash like this. Does anyone know if this is factory and how much it might cost to change it to solid red?

Also just thought I'd post this pick and see if anyone could tell anything about the transom. It looks to me that it may have been painted? Thanks for the help

The flat black gauge surface was stock. You could paint it to match but you may get some glare reflecting off of it into your eyes. Most I/O 22's of that vintage had a grey bilge and transom. White looks better!

Yeah Funhome I changed my mind and I think I'm going to pick that one up. Anyone know just what the best set up would be for the motor? Anyone selling a 200+ o/b?
