Just at first glance, it didn't have the Regal in the stripes like Bodyshot's does. (shown above) And it has the classic 100 mph club sticker in the back, which I don't think Regal did. But I could be wrong. I know the switch was sometime around 86. An easy way to tell would be in the hull id #.

fyi...if you look closely, mine did have the "100 mph" sticker on the sides...back by the transom.

Ziemer the 86 Regal velocity I was originally looking at had the stickers too.

My neighbor has an identical one to your picture. Has a 200 on it with a jack plate, on a blue trailer. He has had it for over 6 years. Did yours go to NH? I am waiting to move it over to my side of the street.

Owell, there goes my theory. Again, the easiest way to know for sure would be the first 3 letters of the hull id.

Ziemer, I was hoping to find a secret!! I was always told to go by the HID. My 22 has the sticker but hull ID starts with RGM.

A friend of mine is a boat dealer, says the boat is only rated for 250 hp? That means I'd have to rig the motor myself. I'd need new controls and cables? Possibly hydraulic steering to handle a 300hp motor? What else might I need and how much would it cost me? Thanks.
