a dealer friend of mine sold it for me..I never met the buyer..but I believe it went to South Jersey..mine had a Mariner 220..the first year of efi...on an aluminum trailer...
like I said before..I should've kept it, and passed on the whole racing deal...dumbazz!...

A friend of mine is a boat dealer, says the boat is only rated for 250 hp? That means I'd have to rig the motor myself. I'd need new controls and cables? Possibly hydraulic steering to handle a 300hp motor? What else might I need and how much would it cost me? Thanks.
And definitely go with hydraulic steering. You will probably want some sort of setback/jackplate too. If you haven't been yet, make a trip over to screamandfly.com There are a bunch of guys with outboard 22' Velocity's and the board overall is more geared towards outboards.

DKerns, you will have to let us know how she runs. That is the same set up I would liked to have gotten into
Looks I'll be doing the outboard thing at least for one season.

Gripper, I will post some pics of the progress. Good luck with the outboard setup. I think you will be very pleased. They run and perform very well with outboards.
