It left here last spring with brand new triple Opti's on it! I had the boat out once and it ran good! A little transom heavy but pulled like a drag boat! Had to use the 30" tabs to keep it in check!

How does it run with the 280's compared to the 260's? Mercury does a lot of R&D with Velocity hulls! I would contact them as well as Bret at BBlades. I think you will find a through hub will be best all around.

Yeah, Seems like when I buy something it need a ton of work but when I sell it its "turn key and trouble free"....I guess I can write it off as charity
