X dimension on a 41

I think for the boat, power and setup 10-12% is the mark we are shooting for. Always trade offs between top end, coming on plane and mid range acceleration. The big question is how much time and money do I want to spend in trying to hit the mark

Whippled 525's dyno'd at 775 HP/790 ftlbs torque each spinning 5600-5700 rpm's. Drives are 1.5 ratio. Theoretical speed would be between 113-115 mph. With noted slip ratio should be around 100-103 mph. First time out ran 94. Couldn't do any triming on the boat because it would hit the rev limiters. As a result bow was riding lower than it should. Adding 1" spacers and changing props should make significant difference. Not really planning on changes beyond that - at least at this point.

That boat should see big #'s , I am looking forward to seeing what prop is selected . My staggard 41 needs more bow lift and I am going to try raked wheels in the spring . I run those same #'s ( 5700-5800 ) with a set of re-worked 30 4 blades . Also have some standard 33" 4 blade same top end at 5500 . Hope to get some bow lift and loosen things up , expecting to be at around 100 when I'm done .
