I have never been a fan of velocities windshield, so i removed it and the pods at the same time, Its a little bit of work and will require some fiber glassing but you cant beat the look of a clean flat dash. Here is mine with the pods removed, glassed and dash painted.

I added colored Bezels and a matched steering wheel and it completly changed the look of the dash...

Yep, that's the look I'm going for. I'm almost done with the fb work and hope to start painting by the the end of the month. Looks like you have quite the project going. Are you done with the dash? Would love to see pics.

Your dash does look sweet. I do like Velocity's dash's when looked at from the drivers seat. I just don't think the pod look fits the look of the hull (when viewed from the front or side).

The boat was dropped off to get new stringers and bulkheads this past weekend. I'll be building out the dash shortly after that, and I'll try to post some pictures.

That looks really good. I added a couple gauges, and put all red bezels on. Will be installing a red steering wheel soon.
