Thanks, I appreciate the feed back. I like the way it looks without a w/s but I may grow tired of the wind eventually. Has anyone had any experience with separate wind flaps like what Finneys fron Arizona is selling? http://i.imgur.com/1LuYJ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/7B2GQ.jpghttp://i.imgur.com/0OuxR.jpg

I think the previous owner installed these trim tabs wrong , They are not flush with the bottom of the hull .......[IMG]http://i.imgur.com/dZVjF.jpg. Is this a problem??

I had a 93 t-bred velocity. Had a 509 250 B&M on it. Popped that and ran a 589 Blown wih a 10-71 intercooled. Around 1000 H.P. as for your tabs Ive seen them there before not saying it right or wrong but i like them on the out side . Also they should be moounted about and inch about the keel not even. Good luck with the boat

Thats sick power ! How did the boat handle with that much power. Speed ?
|
Handling wants to huge of an issue I did have the dual ram on the back. It ran great witht hat power 4800 3 psi of boost was 82. Swinging a bravo 32. Motor would turn 7200 at 8 psi. Would run low 100's. Just keep on the wheel and let itfly. Thats pretty much it but make sure to get some good seat time before running huge power. Wheel time is a big factor on these boats. The more seat you have the better and you can run the boat to full potential.

As to the tabs, I belive Steve Stepp recommends
mounting them as your picture shows. |

Mike that does sound sweet....... I did check with Kenny and he said Steve has set up tabs the way mine are. Said it handles higher speeds really well this way. That was good to hear.
