I have a built 524 and with wet exhaust at idle it's loud. I added Gibson exhaust to it and it took the bark out. It's still loud, just not painful. First time I started it in the marina the echo off the break wall was like thunder. I started it once in my drive to winterize it before I put the mufflers on. It was Halloween and I scared every kid for 1/2 a mile.

I got the Stainless Marine exhaust put on the boat and with the 6 inch risers there shouldn't be any issue with reversion. That along with how Stainless injected the water almost to the rear of the risers I haven't had an issue what so ever.

Great. That is good news. Coming in late but wanted to add... Don't hesitate to call Velocity with questions. They are a great resource.
By the way... A Velocity will never look like a sleeper. LOL.

I have made fast friends with Scott McCormick. He has helped my above and beyond what I would have expected. The guy is just something else.
