Moving on to the trim rings. I picked them up from stainless marine. Wasn't easy to find the size I needed with the 40°angled hole. They dug deep on the shelves to find them.. I was told they weren't making them anymore. One of the ones received wasn't quite right but they ended up finding the correct one and it was a match. Lucky for me because it was their last. The tricky part for me was to wrap the very end around the transom. This took quite a bit of time and patience. Thanks to board member icdedple for the advice on the heat resistant Silicone

I also decided to remove the grab handles and put flappers over the holes. I will end up opening the vent holes more in the future..

I moved on to some cosmetics with some function......
I'll post up some pics of the marine decking I used. I'm not big on a lot of graphics but the boat was seriously plain jane. Also the walk around is narrow and I'm sure it is only a mater of time before I take a swim. I decided to put down some light gray matting and help jazz it up some with a more up to date look. I had an idea to break up the deck from the hull sides with a broken line like you would see from a graphic on an old Mopar.
