This is kinda my first boat, I`ve had a Jet ski for the last 10 years and a Yamaha Jet boat a few years ago.
So I don`t have much to compare it to.. The previous owner met us to do show me a few things.

I do have a couple of questions
Warning newb zone ahead lol

On some chop I was trimming it down to keep the nose lower to 'cut' thru the waves.. with trim up it seemed to bounce more/ get out of the water. Is that correct to do?
The trim tabs I used only to level the boat

Out of the hole I want trim all the way down right? Then trim up according to conditions?
It took me like half a minute to get on plane? Just addding gas slowly till it got up there..

any tips are appreciated!
Sounds like you are going in the right direction. You can also trim up a bit for speed and use to the tabs to keep the bow down. I assume you live in there Chicagoland area, anyhow there are plenty of seasoned performance boaters that could come along for a ride and give you a few tips. I had 3 28' or less singles before I got my 32. I would be happy to show you some tips. Look me up next time you make it to the warm water beach.

ICDEDPPL, Got any pictures? You definately bought the right boat. We have had ours for 10 years and love it like we just bought it. Like I always say, she may be only 25 ft but she has a big heart!

I am usually there every weekend, sat and sun weather dependant. I can't post pics anymore as I am not a paying member on this cite, but I have a primarily white 32' Sunsation with purple, yellow and black strips that run along the side and fade into a checkered flag at the transom. There are only a couple sunsations on our side of the lake so I should be easily to spot. We normally park right in front of the water outlet and there are normally a few or a bunch of other offshores parked in a group.
