anyone want to buy a 32 fountain? it is my down payment! have yet to see all the info on the 37 active thunder, but my wife and i have gone and looked at the 38 formula, 38 donzi, 36 baja, 38 powerquest, and 38 fountain, but man just from a few internet photo's that active thunder is impressive looking. Have to wait until she gets unpregnant but we will be making a trip to south florida before a final decision is made. Just hope I can swing a new one, the new cabin set-up looks much nicer than the old one.

YZBERT, thank you for the comments, and you need to drive this 37 AT, it is one sweet boat. I have been on the Formula, Donzi38Daytona, Powerquest, all nice boats, all different price ranges with Powerquest being the least expensive. The A.T. is less expensive and offers way more in ride and performance (also to mention the new millenium series interiors), than your other boats mentioned. Compare A.T. to Outerlimits, and then take the 100k you saved and buy more toys. You really need to go to Florida and check it out, totally custom, anything that you want Pat and Steve are willing to oblige.
Steve is redoing a few items on my boat graphics wise and the interior is going to be a mellon color (no girly man colors for this guy) we save that Pink kind of stuff for ACTIVE THUNDER DAN :p The dash will have some graphics incorporated and there will be some white and other colors on the seats as well. So keep watching the web site, you will start to see the weekly transformations on both Dans and my boats. Good luck to you and see ya next year. :D

Miller, man do I love melons, GODS SWEET NECTAIR, those damn melons always get me in trouble, personally the bigger the jucier, not as big as a watermelon though. :p
I also got your email on 575 Im just not sure which I like better, I like the 750hp from the whipples and like you said when I get the 42 just move on over, still thinking it over. :D

JASSMAN, glad you got the email. In any event, it's always worth checking things out befire you finalize it.

Besides, when you do move up to the 42, you'll probably want to know about the 575s to compare to the Sterling Poker Run 600s that are about the same price (possibly lower)! You know, like melons, bigger is always better when talking about engines! :D

Hi guys, H20 here, Im sorry I havent clued you in which boat Im getting, Tbikini wants a Thunder, but Im still pondering it over, going over the reserch, you know like cost analisist, the best warranty, the overall largest nicest cabins, the best speed in there class, a good value to dollar ratio, it seems to point out to the obvious, ACTIVE THUNDER butttttt you know Ill let you know by this weekend, or did I say last weekend, no, no, thats right, it was the weekend before that. :p :confused: or what

Didn't read all 13 pages of replies, but as a previous AT owner, the boat is solid. However, the mold is dated with flaws and needs work (on the 32). Just look at the rubrail install and you will see waves in the ocean at the joint. The "standard" carpet is dated as is the lighting. If you can look past these details, (cosmetic) , the ride is fantastic, second to none in the same size, and a blast to drive. Pat offers great service after the sale, and the guys at the factory are great. Eventhough I own a Formula now, I will be making that move once again in the spring. So... the answer to the question between Sonic and AT .....for the ride...AT for attention to cosmetic details..... Sonic

Thunder32, check out my post on page 9. We were looking at the 386 and the 37AVH. Agree with the "dated" comments, the new AT cabin will bring it up to date. Sonic fit and finish (on the boat we looked at) needed attention.

Jassman,I have had 2 37's.First was a straight v-bottom with hp500 carb motors.ran a solid 80-81.Second was a 37 step with hp500efi's,ran a strong 88mph.Loved both boats,but prefer the step.You just could not get the boat to screw up.Have money on a third Active Thunder.Like most everyone here before I purchased my first ThunderI looked at everything from a Hustler to a Fountain.Decided to get a real boat rather than a followers boat.If ya know what I mean.

Hey Thunder 32, gladd to have you aboard. I was told in late of 99 the 32 and 37 molds were tweeked slightly and for 2001 they have come out with a new Millenium Series updated cabin. I always loved the Thunder but prefered the Sonics cabin, I worked with Pat and Steve in redoing the cabin to meet My wifes needs (thats all she cares about, damn women) for overknighting and thats what closed the deal for me. The boats are straight, I cant anwser for previous boats, the graphics are what you want, the ride you know about, and now the new cabins, (they have hired the best in the industry, guys from Apache,Powerplay and so on) rolled and tucked, pleated, corian countertops,microwave, cherry wood, all top notch,complete stand up bathroom w/shower, very close to the Outerlimits, with slightly more headroom, and 100k less expensive. Hope to see you at some poker runs next year, and if you ever want to drive my boat just let me know, have a good holiday. :)
