Thunderdan ,
Even with my boat loaded with all the options it will still run 86 MPH on freshwater and 88 on saltwater.( GPS speeds )
Its common for me to have over 1/2 tanks of fuel, all the stuff for a weekend stay out on the boat and my wife and I aboard and still hit at least 84 on the GPS..
This is with the 500 EFIs ( STOCK )... I can't tell you how many people think I modified these motors while we are in poker runs, due to the performance of the boat. I have even had people crawling around in the engine compartment looking around. After I spanked the (so called) 95 MPH 38' Cig in three footers..
So far top speed has been 88.2 ( GPS ) and thats the same way it left the factory .. Life is good.......

Mark,
I may have to come down to visit this summer, maybe learn a few tricks or two off of you. Those are some impressive speeds. What poker runs do you usually do? Do you any northern more runs?

Man you guys. I never have a chance to talk up AT anymore. For the longest time I was the lone gunman standing against all the cookie cutter builders and the wannabe customs. For a while there I felt so all alone in my quest to let the world know of the special qualities of being an AT owner; of which I've been for over 3 years now. I'm so very glad to have some compadres (sp) in the never ending battle to continue the education of the boating world. I don't hardly ever have to say anything anymore. Its been a long battle so now I can sit back and rest and let the new members of the AT family carry on the fight. Go forth my brothers and do battle well.
How was that Pat. Pretty good eh?
(Jeez I crack myself up)
Uh oh...Tracy was just reading over my sholder and said "Back away from the computer there Gladiator, and go take out the garbage"
Gotta go boys....Carry on
Todd (the original OSO AT Warrior) LMAO

Skater that's some impressive speed considering 1/2 load of fuel is 100 gallons and you have a deisel generator (right? I thought Pat said that) which I'd bet adds considerably to the overall boat weight. Just goes to show that the AT is an efficient running surface.
