Cool

Tough descision, 575's or Whipple's The 575's can also be kicked up a notch with some super chiller's. It provides a more dense air charge and also keeps the temps in the upper end of the unit in a much lower operating range. Thats good for several more horsepower and reliability when run in the higher RPM ranges for long periods of time. If I had the money and wanted to go, reliably, at high speeds for long periods of time, that is the direction I would go. You may not actually care since I cannot even make the descision to buy the boat in the first place

Jassman, I heard there are a pair of Supercat motors for sale at $30,000 each, making 750hp per side. They are brand-new and the Supercat motors are supposed to be very, very reliable. Maybe we've found the power you seek.

Wow! What a dialogue on which one to go with.

Forget those two and go with Powerquest... just kidding. I love the AT and talked at length with the factory about the possiblity of building one to my specs. They will do anything for you and are great folks.

Hey PQ340 Viper, Ive had a Fountain, Formula, and my last boat was a 96 PQ Viper, with 502efis, loaded up, it was a nice boat.
You are right about A.T. doing what you want, they are easy to deal with, no b.s., stellar workmanship, far better than the lick n stick boats and fast as ****, they are UNFCKNBLVBLE, Have a good holiday
