Tough descision, 575's or Whipple's
The 575's can also be kicked up a notch with some super chiller's. It provides a more dense air charge and also keeps the temps in the upper end of the unit in a much lower operating range. Thats good for several more horsepower and reliability when run in the higher RPM ranges for long periods of time. If I had the money and wanted to go, reliably, at high speeds for long periods of time, that is the direction I would go. You may not actually care since I cannot even make the descision to buy the boat in the first place

Jassman, I heard there are a pair of Supercat motors for sale at $30,000 each, making 750hp per side. They are brand-new and the Supercat motors are supposed to be very, very reliable. Maybe we've found the power you seek.

Wow! What a dialogue on which one to go with.
Forget those two and go with Powerquest... just kidding. I love the AT and talked at length with the factory about the possiblity of building one to my specs. They will do anything for you and are great folks.
