Re: Red Death
You never know with me.Within the next few weeks i should have some money out of the restaurant and for years i flat out missed not being on the water.Hey Nick whats up.
|
Re: Red Death
Nick i should have it (Viper )back together by Thanksgiving .No more racing or magazine tests ect. Dodge has a new Viper coming ouy in 6 months (625 hp from the factory )so i will have D Buhler order me one.My car is basically obsolute (performance, braking ect)I dont want to throw good money on top of bad.

Re: Red Death
Panther(Frank) you want to hear a great car story?Ask Nick Sacutis about the time i was with the magazine guys at the Colts Neck Inn the night they were testing one of the origional prototypes for the Ford GT months before its public release. At this particular time John Coletti(used to be head of Ford SVT) gave a SLIGHTLY mofifyed GT to Evan Smith and the rest of Muscle Mustang and Fast Ford to test it at Englishtown.Evan took a few of us down Route 18 at lets just say a little over the speed limit.(close to 3 times)

Re: Red Death
I remember that car. And the story about the Sunday drive on 18. :evilb:

Re: Red Death
Come on up to Monmouth County where a bare building lot on the water in Middletown,Rumson or Deal is in the 4 million dollar range then you can talk about selling land.Which county do you live in again?

Re: Red Death
Red,
I've held off on this... You want to carry on conversations that are off-topic? PM or e-mail or call these people. As far as your Apache comments go, I think we've all had enough. Unless you have something positive to add, please post elsewhere. |
Re: Red Death

Re: Red Death
Chris ,your missing the point.Nothing is being said thats bad about the Apache.I am trying to actually buy one.If someone is trying to sell me something at double or tripple the MARKET VALUE (just because they put that much into it )they are TRYING to take advantage of me according i do have a right to respond.Others simply dont want to hear or acknowledge the TRUTH because it devalues their boat. One guy applaudes Preditor (forexample) as an ideal SPECIAL LIGHTWEIGHT Apache.Nobody wants it mentioned (for some strange reason )that Preditor sold in March of this year for 85000.00.

Patience is a virtue. |
Re: Red Death
RD, everything is for sale, you just have to pay for it.
On the other hand, if there are not many comps(since you mention realestate) in recent apache sales, it is very hard to judge market value. Can't compare sales of a 41 apache to any cig, or any other boat for that matter. |

As a piece of friendly advice, If you're trying to join the Apache club, you may need something someday- some piece of info, a tip or a source. if you piss everyone off, that's going to make it just that much tougher on you. |
Re: Red Death
This thread really went down the crapper quick! :(
M. Triana at the Ins. Co. called me earlier this week, they wanted to lower the value of my policy by 30% because they felt the boat wasn't worth it.  Fortunately for me, I was able to provide them with documentation of the new motors and drives and they where satisfied! |

irregardless One entry found for irregardless. Its fairly widespread use in speech called it to the attention of usage commentators as early as 1927. The most frequently repeated remark about it is that "there is no such word." There is such a word, however. It is still used primarily in speech, although it can be found from time to time in edited prose. My homeboy Noah Webster is a bad motherfuc&er. |

85, your speedo read 86 that day in a nice chop.
But you should be doing this run w/ the 800s. btw, if a cig mistress is a great boat if your 6ft or less, how short do you have to be for a 27sport? :D |
